Blog Posts

As part of a field experience for an English course, I wrote blog posts for the Franklin Park Public Library. The blogs were primarily promotional posts for the library, focusing on future programs, events, and materials the library would receive. I wrote a number of articles covering the addition of Roku devices for circulation, the arrival of STEAM kits (science kits children will be able to circulate in the summer), an inclusivity statement welcoming all individuals to the library, and more. The articles required collaboration and communication with others in the library and the analysis of my audience in order to provide them with the information they wanted in an efficient and personable manner.
