P.A.L.S Corner Newsletter
P.A.L.S. Corner is a newsletter I developed with a partner as part of a project for my Advanced Multimedia Writing course. As part of the project, my partner and I created a nonprofit named P.A.L.S. (Providing Adults with Language Services). The organization focused on raising awareness on child language brokering and provided parents with resources to improve their English and promote independence. Among the resources provided were ESL courses, citizenship courses, and childcare services. In our newsletter, we sought to raise awareness of the problems that arise during child language brokering and promote the stories of those who have succeeded through our services. Through developing the newsletter, I learned how to promote company values through written materials and encourage community involvement. P.A.L.S. Corner proved to be a valuable work and is one I am very proud of.

P.A.L.S. Brochure
As a continuation of the above nonprofit project, my partner and I created a brochure on our nonprofit organization, P.A.L.S. (Providing Parents with Language Service). As mentioned previously, the organization focused on raising awareness on child language brokering and provide parents with resources to improve their English and promote independence. While creating the brochure, we wanted to make sure we provided the essential information of our organization: who we are, our values, the services we provide, volunteer opportunities, and a schedule of classes. Because of this, I created a Spanish version of our brochure so as to promote an inclusive community and appeal to our audience. We also included the story of a child whose parents successfully took our courses. As a whole, we were aware of the principles of design, our appeal to emotion, and our ethos as an organization. Through this, we created a brochure that properly displayed P.A.L.S. as a communal nonprofit.
Escritores Unidos
Escritores Unidos was a nonprofit I created for my Spanish Business course. The nonprofit was an organization I created that focused on helping aspiring authors through the writing process. As a writer myself, I recognized the difficulty in writing a book from start to finish. Through my own experience, I found that what was most important in the writing process was determination and having the right people supporting you, people who believe and motivate you. Escritores Unidos aims to do this, providing authors with editors who would help them create a novel from start to finish with the hope that the working title would be eligible for publication.
